Arsenal to return for Bournemouth livewire

Arsenal attempted to sign Ryan Fraser last summer, with his contract having just a year left on it. Bournemouth were demanding a fee in the region of £25m which Arsenal deemed a little too steep for a player of his ilk in the final year of his contract. Arsenal reportedly tabled bids in the region of €18m which were promptly rejected, thus the gunners turned their attention to other targets.

Ryan Fraser is running down the final year of his Bournemouth contract, and will be a free agent when the window opens again, meaning potential buyers will not have to negotiate any fee with Bournemouth and would only have to pay the players wages and bonuses.

According to 'Football London', Arsenal are back in the running to sign the Scottish speedster, with the gunners still in need of services in the attack. In a summer where finances could be very tight at the club, getting a player like Fraser on a free could represent an excellent transfer.

Fraser hit seven(7) goals and fifteen(15) assists last season but has been unable to replicate that form this season in which he has rather underwhelmed, however it's not uncommon for players in the final year of their contracts to experience a dip in form with contract unsettlement a major issue. Fraser would represent a solid transfer for the Gunners, especially for no transfer fee
