Besiktas want permanent Elneny deal

Mohamed Elneny was sent on loan to Besiktas in the summer, with the arrival of Dani Ceballos making game time all the more beyond the Egyptian's reach. He was well down the pecking order before then, only going further down after the transfer so it was deemed unnecessary to keep him, and rightly so.

His start at Besiktas was not exactly the best of starts as he got sent off on his debut. However he has since improved on his performances, putting in dogged displays at the base of the Besiktas midfield, winning over fans and staffs.

Reports surfacing from 'The Tribuna' today claim that Besiktas coach is reportedly interested in making El Neny's stay in Turkey a permanent one. His loan move did not have an option to buy, but negotiating one wouldn't be much of a task as Arsenal are a willing seller there.

Arsenal signed El Neny from Basel for a fee of £5m, he has not exactly been a world beater, but he's shown commitment and done his best when called upon, and his modest transfer fee means Arsenal are sure to still make a profit on him.
